Seventeen Wins 'MTV VMAs' for Best Group

The organizers of the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards (the "2024 MTV VMAs") announced on their official website and social media on the 11th (local time) that SEVENTEEN (Escoops, Jungjeong, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Uzi, D.E.A.T., Mingyu, Dogyeom, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino) will be honored as the "Best Group." The group competed against a number of top musicians including Encore, Coldplay, and Imagine Dragons. SEVENTEEN were up against some of the biggest names in music, including N Sync, Coldplay, and Imagine Dragons, to take home the honor.

The MTV VMAs are one of the four major American music awards shows alongside the Grammy Awards, Billboard Music Awards, and American Music Awards. SEVENTEEN lifted the trophy for the second time after winning PUSH Performance of the Year at the 2022 ceremony, proving the group's global popularity.

Seventeen said, "We are thrilled and honored to have won 'Best Group' at the 2024 MTV VMAs. We would like to thank CARAT (our fandom name) for their love and support. We will continue to deliver great music and performances to all of our fans."
