Doyoung Delivers Comfort Through ‘Still,’ Written by Yoon Do-hyun… 2nd Album 'Soar' Builds Anticipation
NCT’s Doyoung is set to deliver deep emotion and comfort through his upcoming second album track “Still (고요),” scheduled for release in June.
“Still” is a pop-rock track that blends lyrical piano, rich strings, and modern band sounds. The song illustrates the emotional journey of those caught between reality and ideals, ultimately portraying a process of finding peace. Doyoung’s expressive vocals add depth and sincerity to the message.
Notably, the track was written and composed by legendary artist Yoon Do-hyun, vocalist of the band YB. Yoon Do-hyun shared, “‘Still’ was written during a difficult time when I longed for inner peace. I thought Doyoung’s voice would suit it well, so I decided to gift it to him.” He added, “Doyoung captured the sense of solitude perfectly. He is already a complete artist, and I look forward to whatever music he does next.”
On May 24, a behind-the-scenes video titled “Soar Diary - page. 1” was released through the NCT YouTube channel, showing Doyoung and Yoon Do-hyun working together in the studio and sharing candid interviews.
Doyoung’s second album “Soar” will be released on June 9 and includes ten tracks, including the title track “Memory (안녕, 우주).” The album reflects Doyoung’s desire to pass on the strength to dream through his music, just as he once found comfort through it himself. <저작권자 ⓒ 코인리더스 무단전재 및 재배포 금지>
