BOYNEXTDOOR's ‘No Genre’ surpasses 1 million sales in just 5 days

BOYNEXTDOOR has officially joined the ranks of million-sellers with their latest album just five days after its release.

According to Hanteo Chart on May 18, the group’s fourth mini album “No Genre” recorded a cumulative sales figure of 1,074,316 copies as of May 17, including three versions of the album.

This achievement surpasses the first-week sales of their previous album “19.99,” which sold 759,156 copies during its initial week. The rapid increase highlights the group's expanding fanbase and rising popularity.

Since their debut, BOYNEXTDOOR has shown consistent growth with every release. Their debut single sold approximately 110,000 copies in the first week, followed by 450,000 and 530,000 copies for their first and second mini albums, respectively. “19.99” entered the Billboard 200 chart at number 40 in September 2023, marking the group’s presence on the global stage. That album took nearly a month and a half to surpass the one million mark, making “No Genre”’s five-day milestone all the more notable.

In addition to strong album sales, the group is also seeing success on digital platforms. The title track “I Feel Good” entered the upper ranks of Melon’s Top 100 the day after its release. Along with their digital single “IF I SAY, I LOVE YOU,” released in January, the group continues to gain momentum.
