EXO’s Kai wraps up first solo concert “Stage is the start of forever… I want to stay with fans”
EXO’s Kai wrapped up the Seoul leg of his first solo concert tour, expressing his gratitude to fans.
On May 18, the second and final Seoul show of ‘2025 KAI SOLO CONCERT TOUR KAION’ was held at the Olympic Park Handball Gymnasium. Greeting the audience, Kai said, “Thank you for coming to my very first solo concert.”
He continued, “I’m very nervous and excited. Yesterday I was anxious wondering if I could pull it off, but today I’m thrilled thinking about doing well and having fun.”
Recalling the previous performance, he said, “If you watch today’s concert, you might be surprised thinking, ‘Did Kai change this much?’ Yesterday, my mic flew away due to the high tension, and even my pants ripped. I’ll try to do better today without any incidents.”
As fans reacted with cheers, he added, “You all sound more disappointed than I expected. But please don’t enjoy things like pants ripping. I believe this concert is for ages 7 and up. Everyone should enjoy it.”
Kai also shared how he felt closer to fans during the performance. “I heard people didn’t scream much yesterday because they were just immersed. But today the responses are great, and I feel even more energy. I’m addicted to dopamine, and I couldn’t sleep last night because I was too excited. But don’t worry, I’m grown up. I’m not a kid anymore. If you still see me as a baby, then I guess I should call you nuna. Nuna, don’t worry. I’m all grown up.”
He also explained the meaning behind the concert name ‘KAION’. “It’s a combination of Kai, On, and Aion — the Greek word for eternity. It means the Kai on stage signals the beginning of forever. I want to perform forever with you. I hope none of you go anywhere and always stay here.” <저작권자 ⓒ 코인리더스 무단전재 및 재배포 금지>
