IVE’s Liz joins ‘Heavenly Ever After’ OST lineup with emotional track ‘Heavy Love’

Liz of the girl group IVE has joined the fifth original soundtrack of the JTBC drama ‘Heavenly Ever After’.

At 6 p.m. on May 18, Liz’s OST ‘Heavy Love’ for ‘Heavenly Ever After’ (written by Lee Nam-gyu, directed by Kim Seok-yoon) will be released on various online music platforms.

‘Heavy Love’ combines grand string arrangements with Liz’s clear yet strong vocal tone, delivering a delicate and lyrical portrayal of love. The lyrics and structure depict how love becomes heavier and deeper over time, and Liz’s expressive delivery adds emotional depth.

The chorus line “Let’s share a heavy love” conveys courage and sincerity in embracing even unstable emotions, strongly reflecting the drama’s core message.

Liz, the main vocalist of IVE, has been recognized for her ability to convey emotions delicately through her refreshing voice. She has played a central vocal role in songs like ‘After LIKE’ and ‘I AM’. In this OST, her refined and emotional vocals enhance the drama’s atmosphere.

‘Heavenly Ever After’ tells the story of Hae-sook (played by Kim Hye-ja), who arrives in heaven and meets her husband Nak-jun (played by Son Suk-ku), who has returned to his thirties. The romance unfolds every Saturday at 10:40 p.m. and Sunday at 10:30 p.m. on JTBC.
