PLAVE Intensifies Legal Action Against Sasaeng Fans—Cracking Down on Stalking and Doxxing
The virtual idol group PLAVE is taking strong action against malicious behaviors invading members' privacy.
On the 15th, their agency BLAST announced through its official website, “We are continuously monitoring insults, defamatory comments, doxxing, and stalking behaviors (referred to as 'sasaeng activities') targeting PLAVE members and are responding with strict legal measures.”
In particular, the agency has received court rulings recognizing civil damages liability following the conclusion of previous criminal procedures and plans to thoroughly enforce these rulings.
Investigations are currently underway nationwide against those who posted malicious content and invaded the members’ privacy. Recently confirmed stalking cases are also being addressed with requests for criminal penalties in cooperation with investigative agencies.
BLAST emphasized, “Any invasion of private spaces, including tracking members’ movements, accessing lodgings or vehicles, and taking unofficial photos, is absolutely unacceptable. We ask fans to join us in fostering a healthy fan culture.” <저작권자 ⓒ 코인리더스 무단전재 및 재배포 금지>
