IU Returns After 8 Years with Remake Album 'A Flower Bookmark 3' Full of Nostalgic Vibes

Singer IU is making a comeback with her third remake album, 'A Flower Bookmark 3'.

On May 15, her agency EDAM Entertainment announced, “IU will release 'A Flower Bookmark 3' on the 27th.” This album marks the third installment of her remake series, following 'A Flower Bookmark' in 2014 and 'A Flower Bookmark 2' in 2017, returning after approximately eight years. It also marks her comeback about a year and three months after her sixth mini-album 'The Winning', released in February last year.

'A Flower Bookmark 3' is a remake album where IU reinterprets timeless classics with her unique sensitivity and lyrical vocals. The unveiled album cover image shows IU leaning against an old public phone, gazing into the camera, evoking an analog and nostalgic mood reminiscent of faded film photographs.

IU has previously been praised for her remake tracks such as 'Autumn Morning', 'Meaning of You', and 'Last Night’s Rain', where she blended respect for the originals with her own musical style. Expectations are high for this album to once again showcase her deep emotions and warm ambiance.
