Growth Girl Band QWER Captivates Japanese Fans at 'KCON JAPAN 2025' Debut
Girl band QWER (Chodan, Magenta, Hina, Siyeon) received an enthusiastic response from Japanese fans during their debut performance at 'KCON JAPAN 2025'.
On May 10 and 11, QWER took part in 'KCON JAPAN 2025' held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. They performed on both the 'Artist Stage' and 'M Countdown Stage', meeting local fans for the first time.
For the opening of the 'Artist Stage', QWER performed '내 이름 맑음', instantly energizing the venue with their lively band sound. They followed with a Japanese version of their debut song 'Discord', receiving a warm response from the audience. Performances of their signature songs such as '가짜 아이돌' and 'SODA' further heightened the atmosphere.
On May 11, QWER showcased a KCON version of '고민중독', enhanced with an introductory instrumental. Starting with Chodan's drumming, followed by Magenta's bass, Hina's guitar, and Siyeon's vocals, the performance encapsulated QWER's youthful narrative. Their use of the 360-degree stage and signature megaphone performance also drew attention.
Notably, QWER unveiled their self-composed song '청춘서약' for the first time. This track reflects QWER's journey of growth, featuring heartfelt lyrics, an uplifting sound, and the distinct vocal colors of all four members, resonating deeply with the audience.
QWER is set to continue their global journey with their first fan concert 'QWER The 1st Fan Concert '1, 2, QWER! in TAIPEI'' on May 14 at Zepp New Taipei in Taiwan. A domestic comeback in early June is also planned. <저작권자 ⓒ 코인리더스 무단전재 및 재배포 금지>
