I-DLE Heats Up Comeback with Pre-release Track ‘Girlfriend’… MV Out on the 9th

I-DLE (Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, Shuhua) is gearing up for a full-group comeback with the release of a pre-release track.

On May 8, their agency Cube Entertainment shared a teaser video for the music video of “Girlfriend,” the pre-release track from their upcoming 8th mini album “We are,” via the group’s official social media channels.

The teaser showcases each member’s intense presence. Yuqi is seen walking toward a car with shattered glass in front, set against the backdrop of the Eiffel Tower and the Seine River. Shuhua stares blankly out the window from the back seat. Minnie and Soyeon enjoy the rhythm in a crowded club, while Miyeon walks with her hair tied up. The members are later seen laughing and running freely through the night streets.

The video also subtly introduces the album’s tracklist, displaying phrases using the titles of all six tracks: “Good Thing,” “Girlfriend,” “Love Tease,” “Chain,” “Unstoppable,” and “그래도 돼요.”

The full music video for “Girlfriend” will be released at midnight on May 9, and the mini album “We are” will be available on various music platforms starting at 6 p.m. on May 19.
