OH MY GIRL’s YooA Ends Exclusive Contract with WM… “I’ll Show a New Side as an Actress”

YooA of OH MY GIRL has addressed the end of her exclusive contract with WM Entertainment.

On May 8, YooA shared a heartfelt message on her personal social media, saying, “I hope Miracle fans are also enjoying a spring full of blessings.” She added, “As I prepared for our 10th anniversary concert, I was filled with deep gratitude for the love and support you've given me. It reminded me once again that my roots are in OH MY GIRL.”

She continued, “I will do my best for OH MY GIRL for the next 10 and even 20 years. Just as much as you want to protect OH MY GIRL, I also want to protect and stand by it.”

Speaking on her acting activities, she said, “I had a great opportunity to participate in a new project, and the filming went well. Through acting, I felt I could share emotions and expressions I couldn’t show as part of OH MY GIRL.” YooA added, “I will work hard to proudly carry the name YooA as an actress and show you better sides of me, so please continue supporting me.”

She confirmed that her group activities with OH MY GIRL will continue under WM Entertainment, while her acting career will proceed under a new agency. “Though nervous and excited, I’m stepping into a new chapter with courage,” she said.

In closing, YooA thanked fans, her fellow members, and WM staff, saying, “Thanks to your support, I’ve made it this far. I will always remain by your side.”

Meanwhile, WM Entertainment announced that members Hyojung, Mimi, Seunghee, and Yubin renewed their contracts. YooA and Arin ended their exclusive contracts but will continue participating in group activities.
