Taeyeon’s Solo Concert ‘The TENSE in JAPAN’ Officially Cancelled… SM Says Alternate Show Not Possible

Taeyeon of Girls’ Generation has officially cancelled her solo concert in Japan.

On April 29, SM Entertainment announced via Taeyeon’s official Instagram account that the Tokyo stop of her solo tour would no longer proceed. The concert, titled ‘The TENSE in JAPAN,’ was originally scheduled for April 19 and 20 at Ariake in Tokyo.

The performance had previously been postponed due to equipment transportation issues. SM explained that although they explored alternatives, it was ultimately difficult to secure a venue that could accommodate the audience while maintaining the show’s quality. As a result, the Tokyo concert has been officially cancelled.

SM expressed gratitude to fans who had waited for the show and asked for understanding regarding the delay in the announcement. All purchased tickets will be fully refunded.
