Adore's "Newzine video demand to take down video is not true"...refutes dolphin slaughter claims

Group Newzine's agency, Adore, and Dolphin Abduction, a group that collaborated with Newzine on music videos, are in conflict over Newzine-related content and the operation of an anti-Hee-Soo channel.

On February 2, director Shin Woo-seok said on his social media account that he was unable to release the Newzine music videos produced by Dolphin Abduction, related video channels, and videos that were scheduled to be uploaded due to the new management of ADORE's demand to delete Newzine videos.

"The Dolphin Abductors and Banheesoo YouTube channels are primarily for the purpose of archiving our portfolio of work and do not generate a single cent of revenue. These videos and channels are made voluntarily with the intention of making good work for our fans, and do not generate any revenue for the organization."

Sin explained.

"At the request of Adore, all of the videos have been removed and cannot be released," he continued, "There are projects that we promised to do with the NewZines kids in the future that we cannot fulfill. We apologize to the staff who have been working all night for months, and most importantly, to the fans who have been waiting."

We also apologize to the fans who have been waiting for the videos.

A spokesperson for the organization said they have asked Dolphin Abduction to take down the directors cut video, but they have not asked Ban Hee-soo's channel or any other news organization to take down or stop uploading all videos related to the news story.

On March 3, the company rebutted Shin's claims. "The director's cut of the ETA music video posted on the dolphin abduction group's social media accounts was an edit that included parts that the advertisers disagreed with," the company said on its official channels, emphasizing that it was posted without consultation with the advertisers."

The company also refuted Shin's claim that the channel's operating policy had changed.

"Mr. Woo-seok Shin, a representative of Dolphin Abductors, is spreading falsehoods that we demanded the removal of not only the Director's Cut video, but all videos related to Newzine, including the Ban Hee-soo channel. We strongly regret the breach of contract and the spreading of false facts by the Dolphin Abductors."
