Jennie Releases 7 Music Videos from 'Ruby' Album, Proving Unrivaled Global Presence

Jennie has proven her status as a global artist by releasing music videos for seven tracks from her first solo full album 'Ruby'.

On April 26, Jennie unveiled the music video for 'Seoul City' from 'Ruby' through her official YouTube channel and SNS. With this release, Jennie has now revealed music videos for 7 out of the 15 tracks included in the album, marking an unprecedented promotional move even in K-pop.

The 'Seoul City' music video features Jennie freely enjoying various locations across Seoul, set against a dreamy atmosphere. The song, which Jennie co-wrote and composed, expresses her deep affection for Seoul and its magical allure.

Following the release of 'Ruby', Jennie set a record for the highest first-week album sales among K-pop female solo artists this year, selling 661,130 copies. She also achieved a new milestone by debuting at No. 3 on the UK's Official Albums Chart, the highest for any K-pop female solo artist.

Furthermore, Jennie made history by simultaneously charting three songs—'like JENNIE', 'Handlebars (feat. Dua Lipa)', and 'ExtraL (feat. Doechii)'—on Billboard's 'HOT 100' chart (March 22 issue), becoming the first K-pop female solo artist to achieve this feat.
