Stray Kids Earn Double Nominations at American Music Awards, Proving Global Impact

Stray Kids have been nominated in two categories at the upcoming American Music Awards (AMAs), further affirming their global presence.

According to the official AMAs website on the 23rd (local time), Stray Kids are nominated for "Favorite K-Pop Artist" and "Favorite Soundtrack" for their track "Come Play," which is featured on the soundtrack for Netflix's animated series "ARCANE" Season 2.

After becoming the second K-pop group to perform at the AMAs last year, they now return as nominees in two categories, reflecting their expanding international influence. The AMAs are considered one of the top three music award shows in the U.S., alongside the Grammy Awards and Billboard Music Awards.

Stray Kids have also secured significant wins this year, including two trophies at the 39th Japan Gold Disc Awards and back-to-back wins at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards for K-Pop Album of the Year.

Currently, they are on their largest world tour to date, "Stray Kids World Tour dominATE," which spans 34 cities and 55 shows. Kicking off in Santiago this March, their first Latin American leg included stops in Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Lima, and Mexico City, drawing a combined 400,000 attendees across eight stadium shows.

The tour will resume in Shizuoka in May and continue through to Rome in late July. It is expected to gather a total of 2.2 million attendees, potentially setting a new record for the most attended K-pop tour.
