Taeyeon Expresses Frustration Over Sudden Cancellation of Japan Concert: "Feels Like It Was Stolen... I'm Sorry to SONE"
Girls' Generation member Taeyeon has directly shared her feelings regarding the abrupt cancellation of her Japan concert.
On April 18, Taeyeon took to her fan communication platform and wrote, "My heart feels so heavy. I don’t even know what to say or how to say it," expressing her frustration after the cancellation was announced.
Taeyeon was scheduled to hold her solo concert, "TAEYEON CONCERT - The ODD Of LOVE," at Ariake Arena in Tokyo on April 19 and 20. However, just two days before the event, the concert was canceled due to delayed delivery of equipment.
Her agency, SM Entertainment, stated, "The equipment used during the Asia tour has not yet arrived in Japan, making it difficult to proceed with the concert preparations. We deeply apologize to everyone who has been waiting for the show." They also added that they are currently considering possible rescheduled performances.
Taeyeon continued, "I really hate this situation and I feel so sorry to SONE (the official fandom name of Girls' Generation). A concert that was created with so much effort and anticipation has just disappeared in an instant. It feels like it was stolen. I don’t know how to express this sense of emptiness and disappointment."
Currently, Taeyeon is meeting fans around the world through her Asia tour concert, "The ODD Of LOVE." <저작권자 ⓒ 코인리더스 무단전재 및 재배포 금지>
