The L'Occitane Korea employee who leaked photos of SEVENTEEN member Mingyu has been placed on standby.

The L'Occitane Korea employee posted unofficial photos of Mingyu's L'Occitane Asia Ambassador campaign on his personal social media accounts. The employee posted a number of photos of Mingyu removing his top."

The employee has been suspended.

L'Occitane Korea apologized on its official social media accounts after learning of the incident, explaining that the employee has been placed on standby. The company also said it plans to introduce regular training programs for all employees on the importance of copyright, portrait, publicity, and privacy rights of brand ambassador artists to prevent similar issues from occurring again.

Hello, L'Occitane Korea.

We have no excuse for the recent unauthorized publication of unofficial photos related to the L'Occitane Asia Ambassador campaign on our employee social media accounts, and we accept full responsibility and apologize for the incident.

We take this matter very seriously, and we sincerely bow our heads and apologize to the artists and fans of these artists who have been hurt by this incident.

With immediate effect, we have completely removed the employee from all duties and have placed him on administrative leave.

In addition, to ensure that such incidents do not recur, we will introduce regular training programs for all employees on the importance of copyright, likeness, publicity and privacy rights of our brand ambassador artists to ensure that they are fully understood and adhered to by all employees, and we will do so with the utmost responsibility.
