We have no excuse for the recent unauthorized publication of unofficial photos related to the L'Occitane Asia Ambassador campaign on our employee social media accounts, and we accept full responsibility and apologize for the incident.
We take this matter very seriously, and we sincerely bow our heads and apologize to the artists and fans of these artists who have been hurt by this incident.
With immediate effect, we have completely removed the employee from all duties and have placed him on administrative leave.
In addition, to ensure that such incidents do not recur, we will introduce regular training programs for all employees on the importance of copyright, likeness, publicity and privacy rights of our brand ambassador artists to ensure that they are fully understood and adhered to by all employees, and we will do so with the utmost responsibility.
