Twice's Zwi makes solo debut... "Thank you to the members";

On May 5, a press conference was held at Lotte Hotel World in Seoul to celebrate the release of TWICE's TZU's first solo mini-album, abouTZU.

'abouTZU' is the first solo album by Zwi, who has been a member of TWICE for nearly 10 years, since 2015. The album name, "abouTZU," which is a combination of the English words "about" and "TZUYU," reflects "everything about TZUYU."

As TWICE's third soloist after Nayeon and Jihyo, Tzuyu is expected to make a new career as a solo artist.

Zwi said, "When I told the members that I was going solo, I received a lot of support. I was able to ask Nayeon and Jihyo any questions I had," she says, adding, "My sisters also monitored me and gave me their opinions. The other members also said to me, 'If you have any difficulties or need help, please tell me,' which was very supportive and appreciated."

TZU's first solo mini-album, "abouTZU," will be released on June 6 at 1 p.m.
