BIGBANG's Daesung reveals new profile photo... and goes solo with first mini album 'D's WAVE'

BIGBANG's DaeSung has launched his solo career with a new profile photo.

Daesung released four new profile photos on his official social media accounts on March 3. In the photos, he creates a chic and relaxed atmosphere with black styling that contrasts with the white background. In particular, he was surrounded by various standing microphones, revealing his presence as a solo artist and drawing attention to himself.

Daesung will release his first mini album 'D's WAVE' for the first time since his debut. The album is a work that expresses the ever-flowing and changing music with the keyword 'WAVE' and contains a total of eight songs. DaeSung participated in the writing and composing of the album, giving it his own unique musical color.

Daesung will kick off his full-scale activities with concerts in Seoul on the 26th and 27th of this month. The concert was sold out as soon as tickets went on sale. Daesung will then continue the tour through August in seven Asian cities including Ho Chi Minh City, Taipei, Hong Kong, Kobe, and Yokohama.

Since establishing an independent label system through D-Lable in 2023, Daesung has been active in various fields including performances and broadcasts as well as music. It will be interesting to see what kind of musical world Daesung will unfold as he returns to his main business through this mini-album.

Meanwhile, Daesung's first mini-album 'D's WAVE' will be released on April 8 at 6 p.m. through various online music sites.
