J-Hope enters Billboard's Hot 100 with new single

BTS's J-Hope has returned to the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, the country's main singles chart.

 

According to Billboard's latest chart (April 5), released on April 1 (local time), J-Hope's digital single "MONA LISA" has entered the Hot 100 chart at No. 65. This marks J-Hope's seventh appearance on the Hot 100, tying him with Jungkook for the most by a K-pop solo artist.

 

J-Hope made his first entry in 2019 with "Chicken Noodle Soup (feat. Becky G)" (No. 81), followed by "MORE" (No. 82), "Arson" (No. 96) and "on the street (with J. Cole)" (No. 60) from his first solo album "Jack In The Box" in 2022, and "LV Bag" (No. 60) in 2023. In 2024, she continued her steady performance with three consecutive Hot 100 hits, including "LV Bag (feat. j-hope & Pharrell Williams)" (No. 83), "Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel)" (No. 66), and "MONA LISA."

 

"MONA LISA" has also been strong on the global charts. It reached No. 14 on Billboard's Global 200 and No. 9 on the Global (excluding the U.S.) chart, breaking J-Hope's personal best ranking. In particular, it reached the Top 10 on the Global (excluding the U.S.) chart for the first time, proving its global popularity.

 

"MONA LISA" also debuted at No. 1 on the "Digital Song Sales" chart, confirming its position as a global artist as it reached the top of various categories.

 

BTS members' solo activities also stand out. J-Hope's "Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel)" remained on the Global 200 (No. 41) and Global (excluding U.S.) (No. 21) charts for three consecutive weeks. In addition, Jimin's title track "Who" from his second solo album "MUSE" reached No. 45 on the Global 200 and No. 32 on the Global (excluding the U.S.), while Jungkook's first solo single "Seven (feat. Latto)" remained at No. 120 and No. 65, respectively, proving his continued global popularity.
