'Streaming' starring Kang Ha-Neul pre-sells to 98 countries overseas...signaling global success
"Streaming" announced the results of its overseas pre-sales on Sunday, revealing that it is receiving strong interest not only in Korea but also in overseas markets. The movie is a thriller about Woo-sang (Kang Ha-neul), a crime channel streamer with the most subscribers, who discovers a clue to a serial murder case that has remained unsolved and tracks down the killer through live broadcasts.
The pre-sale took place in 98 countries across Asia and Europe, including Japan, Hong Kong, Macau, the Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, Malaysia, Taiwan, Mongolia and France. The film is set to open in Singapore on March 27, Malaysia on April 17, and Japan on September 26, with local fans looking forward to seeing the film in theaters."
