PLAVE Donates $50 Million to Wildfire Recovery

Virtual idol group PLAVE donates to wildfire recovery efforts.

On the 26th, the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association announced that PLAVE has donated 50 million won ($50,000) to help those affected by the wildfires in Gyeongbuk, Gyeongnam, Ulsan, and elsewhere.

"We decided to make this donation with the hope that it will bring a little comfort to all those affected by the wildfires," PLAVE said through their agency, adding, "We hope it will also help the firefighters who are struggling to control the flames."

"We hope that those who are suffering from this unexpected disaster can return to their normal lives as soon as possible," PLAVE added.

Hope Bridge Secretary General Shin Hoon Shin said, "PLAVE's donation is not just a good deed, but a warm act with social meaning. We will do our best to ensure that the donation will provide practical help to the affected residents."
