Melon's most loved artist in 20 years, 'IU' has the most songs, 'Pole Kim' has the most songs

Melon analyzed playlist data for its 20th anniversary, and found that IU was the most popular artist and Paul Kim's "Every day, Every Moment" was the most listened-to song by domestic users.

Cakao Entertainment announced the results of analyzing 120 million playlists through Mellon Data Lab on the 21st. IU's songs were featured on 16.97 million playlists and played 91.85 million times. She was followed by BTS and Taeyeon.

The most featured song was Paul Kim's "Every Day, Every Moment," with 3.92 million playlists. It was followed by IU's "Through the Night" and BTS's "Spring Day". The top 10 was mostly dominated by ballads.

Among international artists, Maroon 5, Justin Bieber, Anne-Marie's "2002," and Ed Sheeran's "Shape of You" were the top performers by song.
