Blackpink's Jenny says she's taking legal action against a fake news outlet that impersonated her father, citing defamation, interference with business and more.

OA Entertainment said on June 6, "Recently, illegally produced publications and fake news containing false facts impersonating the artist's father have been continuously circulating. We would like to clarify that this is a clear falsehood and has absolutely nothing to do with the artist."

OA Entertainment also cautioned against illegally produced publications impersonating Jenny's father.

<"We ask that you be careful about purchasing illegally produced publications and take special care not to be harmed in this regard," the company said, adding, "We are taking legal action against the distributors through a law firm, including criminal prosecution on the grounds of defamation and business interference by spreading false facts."

In addition to this, the company warned that creating malicious posts such as defamation, sexual harassment, and malicious slander by spreading false facts about artists is a criminal offense, and warned that it will continue to collect evidence and take strong legal action.
