JENNIE Breaks History as Female K-Pop Soloist with Three Songs on Billboard's Hot 100
According to Billboard's latest charts released on March 22, JENNIE's first solo studio album "Ruby" entered the Billboard 200 at No. 7 on the Billboard Main Albums chart. The title track, "like JENNIE," simultaneously debuted at No. 83 on the Hot 100, the main singles chart."
The companion track "Handlebars (feat. Dua Lipa)" peaked at No. 80, while "ExtraL (feat. Doechii)" re-entered at No. 99, giving Jennie a total of three simultaneous entries on the HOT 100. This is a first for a female K-pop solo artist.
In addition, five songs from "Ruby" - "like JENNIE," "Mantra," "Love Hangover (feat. Dominic Fike)," "ExtraL (feat. Doechii)," and "Handlebars (feat. Dua Lipa)" - entered the HOT 100, and if you include Jennie's collaboration "One Of The Girls" (with The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp), a total of six songs made it onto Billboard's main singles chart.
Jennie also climbed the global charts with her title track "like JENNIE," which peaked at No. 3 on Billboard's Global (excluding the U.S.) chart and No. 5 on the Global 200 chart.
