BTS's Jimin becomes the longest-charting member of the Hot 100
According to the latest chart released by U.S. music publication Billboard on March 15, Jimin's title track "Who" from his second solo album "MUSE" ranked 41st on the Hot 100, spending a total of 32 weeks on the chart. This surpasses the previous record of 31 weeks set by Psy with "Gangnam Style" in 2012, and ties BTS' "Dynamite" as the longest-charting artist with both a group and solo career.
Jimin's album "MUSE" debuted at No. 154 on the Billboard 200 and No. 1 on the World Albums chart, marking his 33rd consecutive week on the chart.
Bangtan Boys' solo activities have also been steadily performing. Don Toliver's new song "LV Bag (feat. j-hope of BTS & Pharrell Williams)," featuring j-hope, has been on the Global Excl. U.S. chart for two consecutive weeks. Jung Kook's first solo single "Seven (feat. Latto)" remains popular on the Global Excl. U.S. and Global 200 charts, spending 86 and 85 weeks on the charts, respectively. Jin's solo album "Happy" has remained on the World Albums chart for 16 consecutive weeks, while BTS' anthology album "Proof" continues its 143rd week at No. 7 on the same chart.
Meanwhile, "Dear my friend," a track from SUGA's mixtape "D-2," released under his stage name Agust D, re-enters the World Digital Song Sales chart at No. 8. <저작권자 ⓒ 코인리더스 무단전재 및 재배포 금지>
