Seventeen's Wonwoo to enlist in alternative service on April 3...agency says
The agency Pledis Entertainment announced on Friday through its official fan community Weverse that "Wonwoo will be enlisting on April 3 to begin his mandatory military service."
"Wonwoo will not be able to participate in scheduled events such as the 'Tecate Pa'l Norte 2025' festival and Japanese fan meeting scheduled for April," the agency said, adding, "However, he will appear as scheduled at the March 20-21 concerts and will communicate with fans through pre-prepared content."
They also said, "There will be no official events on the day they enter the training center, and we ask that you refrain from visiting the workplace," adding, "Please leave messages of support for Wonwoo through the fan community."
Wonwoo is the second member of SEVENTEEN to fulfill his military service obligation after Jungjung. Jungjung enlisted on September 26 last year and is currently serving as a social service worker.
"We will continue to support Wonwoo as he fulfills his military service obligations and returns to a healthy state," the agency said, adding, "We ask for the warm support and love of our fans." <저작권자 ⓒ 코인리더스 무단전재 및 재배포 금지>
