Twice says stalking is serious...JYP "warns of tough legal response"

JYP Entertainment has released an official statement on the stalking victimization of the group TWICE.

"Recently, a certain person has been indiscriminately sending out letters containing inappropriate content and photos stemming from delusions," the agency said through its official channels on Saturday, adding, "In the process, it has been confirmed that the person is constantly hovering around the artists, including their workplaces and residential areas."

JYP Entertainment said, "These acts are causing mental damage and anxiety not only to the artists but also to those around them," adding, "In response, we have taken measures such as further strengthening security to protect the artists' personal safety."

The agency warned that "this individual's continued sending of offensive letters and loitering around the living space is a clear act of stalking," adding that "this is punishable under applicable law."

"We strongly advise that this is against the artist's wishes, and if this individual does not cease stalking immediately, we will pursue all legal options available to us to the fullest extent possible, without any compromise or settlement."
