BTS dominates Spotify global charts with solo songs...Jimin's
On May 25, Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform, released its 2024 Global Impact List, which recognizes the most streamed Korean music overseas in the second half of 2024. According to the chart, five of the top 10 songs were solo tracks by BTS members, and 10 of the top 30 were BTS songs, proving the group's unwavering popularity.
Jimin's solo second album MUSE's title track "Who" took the top spot and was recognized as the best song of the second half of the year. "Be Mine," a track from the same album, also garnered attention, reaching No. 5. Other top 10 hits included "Running Wild" (No. 6), the title track of Jin's solo album Happy, "I'll Be There" (No. 8), and "Winter Ahead (with PARK HYO SHIN)" (No. 9), which features V and Park Hyo Shin.
Jimin's MUSE tracks "Slow Dance (feat. Sofia Carson)" (No. 19), "Rebirth (Intro)" (No. 22), and "Interlude : Showtime" (No. 28), Jin's "Super Tuna" (No. 23), and Bing Crosby's duet with V of BTS, "White Christmas (with V of BTS)" (No. 26) also made the chart.
Meanwhile, according to Spotify's "2024 Wrapped Year-End Wrap-Up," released last December, BTS claimed the title of "Most Streamed K-Pop Artist" for the seventh consecutive year, with more than 3.9 billion streams globally in 2023. <저작권자 ⓒ 코인리더스 무단전재 및 재배포 금지>
