Police drop 'alleged same-sex sexual assault' of toddler due to insufficient evidence

On July 15, a complaint was filed alleging that Yoo had sexually assaulted a man in an office building in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, and police called Yoo in last month to investigate the complainant. At that time, both the complainant and Yoo Ah-in tested negative for drugs.

The police closed the case with no charges. There are reportedly no plans to reopen the case.

Meanwhile, Yoo Ah-in was sentenced to one year in prison and fined 2 million won ($1,000) in the first trial for drug possession on March 3 and is currently in court custody.
