Singer G-Dragon has spoken out about Big Bang reforming as a trio, and it's garnering some attention.

On the MBC entertainment program "Good Day," which aired on the 23rd, G-Dragon and actors Kim Soo Hyun, Lee Soo Hyuk, Im Siwan, Jung Jung In, and Hwang Kwang Hee met and formed a team called "88 Country."

On the broadcast, the members spent time getting to know each other. During the conversation, Kwanghee said, "There were nine children of the empire. If I were to be reborn, I would like to be in a group of three." G-Dragon responded, "We didn't do it because we wanted to do it as a group of three." This caught our attention.

Big Bang debuted as a five-member group in 2006 and released a number of hits, including "Lie," "Haru Haru," "Bang Bang Bang," and "Fantastic Baby," which earned them a lot of love. However, in 2019, Seungri left the group, followed by Taeyang, and the group is currently composed of G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung.

G-Dragon had previously joked on Daesung's YouTube channel in November last year, saying, "Let's not give them any more," and hinted at his feelings about the current Big Bang regime.

On the other hand, Top's name was recently spotted on the roster of members on BIGBANG's official YouTube channel, raising speculation of his return. However, Top denied the possibility of returning to BIGBANG in an interview, saying, "I still have a lot of guilt, so I can't contact them easily."

With G-Dragon once again referring to BIGBANG as a trio in this broadcast, fans are becoming more interested in the group's changes.
