BLACKPINK Reveals First Dates of 2025 World Tour...with Stadium-Sized Performances
YG Entertainment released a poster for BLACKPINK's new world tour on its official blog on Tuesday. The tour will be held in major regions including North America, Europe, and Japan, starting with Korea, and will feature large-scale stadium performances.
BLACKPINK will kick off their first concert on July 5 and 6 at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium in Goyang, and then visit a total of 10 cities in the U.S., including Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, New York, Paris, France, Milan, Italy, Barcelona, Spain, London, England, and Tokyo, Japan. In particular, the solo performances at London's Wembley Stadium and the main stadium of Goyang Sports Complex are expected to be the first ever by a K-pop girl group.
This tour is another big project for BLACKPINK after their last "BORN PINK" world tour. BLACKPINK will once again prove their status as a top global artist by performing at world-class venues such as LA's SoFi Stadium, Chicago's Soldier Field, Toronto's Rogers Centre, New York's Citi Field, and Paris' Stade de France.
YG Entertainment said, "We are preparing for a large-scale performance that will rival our previous world tours, and we ask for your interest in additional locations and dates to be revealed in the future."
The teaser video released alongside the announcement shows scenes from the "BORN PINK" tour, which set a new world tour record for a K-pop girl group with approximately 1.8 million fans. The video shows BLACKPINK's intense performance and the audience's enthusiastic reactions, raising expectations for the new tour. <저작권자 ⓒ 코인리더스 무단전재 및 재배포 금지>
