IVE enters IFPI Global Albums Chart for second consecutive year...breaks own record for highest ranking
The second mini album "IVE SWITCH" by IVE was ranked seventh on the IFPI's Global Album Sales Chart for 2024, which was released on April 18 (local time). Compared to the same chart last year, when their first mini album "I'VE MINE" ranked 9th and their first full-length album "I've IVE" ranked 17th, the group's ranking was even higher, setting a new record by themselves.
The Global Album Sales chart is a ranking that reflects the number of physical albums and digital downloads sold around the world. IVE's debut on the chart follows last year's success with IVE Switch, and marks the third consecutive year that IVE has had three albums, from IVE Mine to IVE Switch, charting on the chart.
"IVE Switch" was released in April last year, expanding on the group's identity of "self-confidence" and capturing a "different me". It became a million-seller, selling more than 1.13 million copies in its first week on Hater Charts.
Continuing the band's global influence, IVE will take the stage at Lollapalooza Paris on July 20 at the Longchamp Racecourse in Paris, France. IVE will be rocking the festival alongside some of the world's top musicians, and is set to make his presence felt at the global festival. <저작권자 ⓒ 코인리더스 무단전재 및 재배포 금지>
