Rookie girl band KiiiKiii makes a bold debut...with 'I DO ME' music video
Starship released the music video for KiiiKiii's first title track, "I DO ME," through its official YouTube channel on March 16. The group drew attention with their unique approach of being the first to release a music video without revealing any information other than their name.
The music video for "I DO ME" was filmed in New Zealand. The five members' unique personalities in the vastness of nature, combined with the sensual production, created a mystical atmosphere. With dreamy synth sounds and heavy disco drums, the song is a pop dance track with a message of trusting your instincts and moving forward.
The music video went viral immediately after its release, becoming the No. 1 trending video on YouTube in South Korea within 12 hours, with more than 2.19 million views as of 10 a.m. on the 18th.
On the 17th, KiiiKiii 's official website was unexpectedly opened. The members' profiles and activity names were revealed for the first time, and the site's original design, based on the concept of a "jam factory," attracted attention. It introduced the team in a different way from other K-pop groups and heralded a new trend.
KiiiKiii is set to make their official debut on March 24 after previewing "I DO ME" on February 24. <저작권자 ⓒ 코인리더스 무단전재 및 재배포 금지>
