Actor Kim Sae-ron to be laid to rest at Asan Hospital in Seoul...funeral scheduled for Sept. 19

The late actor Kim Sae-ron's final resting place has been set up at Seoul Asan Medical Center Funeral Home in Songpa-gu, Seoul. He is survived by his parents and sisters, actors Kim Aaron and Yeron. Condolences can be made from today, and the funeral will be held at 6:20 a.m. on the 19th. The burial site has not yet been determined.

The late Kim Sae-ron was found dead at his home on Nov. 16. According to the Seongdong Police Station in Seoul, a friend who was supposed to meet with the deceased went to visit him when she couldn't reach him, and later found and reported him. Police are still investigating the exact circumstances of his death, although no criminal suspicions have been found so far.

Kim Sae-ron was suspended in May 2022 after a drunk driving accident. She crashed into a transformer while driving in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, causing a power outage in a nearby shopping center, and was fined 20 million won ($20,000) for the incident. He later tried to return to theater and film, but his plans fell through due to health issues.

Kim Sae-ron, born in 2000, began acting as a child and made his acting debut in 2009 with the film "A Brand New Life". He gained attention after appearing alongside Won Bin in the movie "The Man from Nowhere," and has since continued his acting career with roles in "A Girl at My Door," the drama "High School: Love On," "Mirror of the Witch," and "Bloodhounds."
