BLACKPINK's Jisoo releases mini-album 'Amortage'...worked on all songs

BLACKPINK's Jisoo is back with a new solo mini album, "AMORTAGE."

Jisoo will release the mini-album "AMORTAGE" on July 14 at 2 p.m. through online music sites in Korea and abroad. It's her first new music in two years since her solo debut "Flower," and her first album under her own agency, Blissu.

"Amortage" is a combination of the Spanish word "amor" and the movie technique "montage," and it is an album that captures Jisoo's own story. The album includes four songs, "Earthquake," "Tears," "Your Love," and "Hugs and Kisses," and Jisoo participated in all of them, revealing her musical colors more clearly.

The title track "Earthquake" is a song that expresses the excitement and intense emotions of starting a relationship, and a music video featuring Jisoo herself will be released alongside the song. Other songs on the album include "Your Love," about the happiness of love, "Tears," about the pain of breaking up, and "Hugs and Kisses," about regaining freedom.

It will be interesting to see what Jisoo, who has grown as a solo artist, will do with this album.
