IVE Returns After 9 Months...'Ive Empathy' Captures Empathy and Growth

Group IVE is returning with its third mini album, "IVE EMPATHY. According to their agency, Starship Entertainment, IVE will be releasing the new album on February 3 at 6 p.m. KST.

The album will be his first in about nine months since "IVE SWITCH," which was released in April last year. The album includes the double title track "REBEL HEART" and "ATTITUDE," as well as "FLU," "You Wanna Cry," "Thank U," and "TKO."

In particular, 'REBEL Heart' was released before the comeback and won five music broadcasting awards, exerting a strong influence on domestic and international music charts. Through this, Ive raised expectations by foreshadowing the 'Ive Syndrome' once again.

On this album, IVE maintains the existing color of 'self-assurance' while expanding his gaze from 'I' to 'we' to deliver a new message of 'empathy'. If the pre-release song "REBEL Heart" conveys warm comfort and empathy, the title track "Attitude" sings about maintaining a positive attitude even in the face of unchangeable circumstances. The song samples American singer-songwriter Susan Vega's "Tom's Diner" and features an addictive retro vibe.

IVE gained further stage experience and skills through their world tour last year, where they performed 37 shows in 28 cities across 19 countries. On this album, members Jang Won-young and Liz expanded their musical capabilities by contributing to the lyrics of "Attitude" and "Thank U."
