TWS Named Billboard's 'K-Pop Rookie of the Month' in the U.S... Proving Global Popularity

Group TWS has been named "K-Pop Rookie of the Month" by Billboard.

The U.S. music publication Billboard announced TWS as the "K-Pop Rookie of the Month" for January 2025 on its official website on Jan. 27 (local time). The publication emphasized that TWS's debut song "Plot Twist" topped the Melon Annual Chart in 2024, making them one of the most promising K-pop groups of the past year.

Billboard also noted TWS's musical style. It noted that the group has taken a different approach to music than recent K-pop boy groups, emphasizing the emotional resonance of the future bass genre. "Just like the initial trepidation they sang about in their debut song, TWS has grown steadily over the past year. Now, they're ready to showcase their more mature side."

TWS told Billboard, "We are grateful to have received so much love from the beginning. It's especially meaningful that so many people shared the youthful emotions in our debut song," TWS said. TWS will hold its first fan meeting, "2025 TWS 1ST FANMEETING <42:CLUB> IN SEOUL <42:CLUB>," from February 14 to 16 at the Seoul Olympic Park Handball Stadium. All seats were quickly sold out in advance, proving its popularity. "We are looking forward to our first fan meeting with great anticipation," TWS said, expressing their excitement to meet with fans.
