HYBE launched new sites to report artist rights infringement, including Deepfake
HYBE announced that it has opened an artist rights violation reporting site and will respond to issues such as deepfakes. "The integrated reporting site is designed to receive reports from fans about malicious posts that defame artists and copyright infringement cases, and to take action more quickly and respond in a systematic manner," the company said.
"In particular, we will also strengthen existing measures to respond to illegal pornography, such as sexually exploitative material that exploits AI-based image synthesis 'deepfake' technology, which has recently emerged as a serious social issue, by establishing a separate section to respond quickly," HYBE said.
In addition to this, the company said it will continue to take regular legal action against malicious posts and copyright infringement cases based on its own real-time monitoring and fan reports.

Greetings. HYBE.
The 'HYBE Artist Rights Violation Report' site, a unified reporting center for protecting the rights of HYBE artists, is now open.
The "HYBE Artist Rights Violation Reporting" site was created by integrating the existing email reporting channels for each artist into the system. The function of the PROTECT email account, which is a legal response channel for each artist, will be replaced by the new site.
This consolidated reporting site is designed to receive reports from fans about malicious posts that defame artists and copyright infringement cases, so that we can take action more quickly and respond in an organized manner.
Malicious post reports can be categorized into the following categories: ▲ slander/abuse ▲ rumors/falsehoods ▲ sexual harassment ▲ AI deepfake abuse ▲ stalker/bastardization ▲ threats to artists' safety ▲ buying and selling ticket information ▲ fraudulent viral companies ▲ and others.
In particular, we plan to strengthen existing measures to promptly respond to illegal pornography such as sexual exploitation that exploits AI-based image synthesis 'deepfake' technology, which has recently emerged as a serious social problem, by establishing a separate category. We are monitoring domestic and overseas channels including Telegram, X (formerly Twitter), Discord, etc. related to deepfake, and we are directly communicating with investigative agencies to coordinate responses by synthesizing our own monitoring results and existing reports. We are also actively cooperating with relevant ministries and civil society organizations, including the Korea Communications Review Commission. The production and dissemination of fictitious and obscene photos and videos that synthesize artists' portraits is a clear digital sex crime that seriously undermines not only the human rights of artists but also social ethics, and we will take a strong stance against it.
Copyright infringement reports are categorized into ▲Music, ▲Video, ▲IP works (portrait, logo, etc.), ▲Merch, etc. You can report copyright infringement that illegally utilizes or disseminates an artist's music, videos, portraits, logos, and other intellectual property rights.
We will continue to take regular legal action against malicious posts and copyright infringement cases based on our own real-time monitoring and reports from our fans. We will take a strong stance against cases that violate the rights and interests of our artists, as we have done in the past, without prejudice in any case.
We are grateful for the love and dedication of our fans to HYBE artists. We look forward to your continued support and interest in reporting infringements through the 'HYBE Artist Rights Infringement Report' site.
HYBE will continue to strive to protect the rights and interests of our artists.
Thank you. <저작권자 ⓒ 코인리더스 무단전재 및 재배포 금지>
