Seungri spotted at restaurants and bars in Gangnam

Former BIGBANG member Seungri (real name Lee Seung-hyun-34) has been in the spotlight lately.

According to a Jan. 6 report, Seungri has recently been spotted at restaurants and bars in Gangnam, Seoul. A source said, "Seungri visits the same bar about twice a week. He drinks quietly and leaves afterward."

Seungri left the entertainment industry in 2019 after being named as a central figure in the Burning Sun scandal. The scandal involved multiple crimes, including drugs, sex offenses, ties to police, tax evasion and assault.

At the time, Seungri was charged with nine counts, including procuring prostitution, prostitution, illegal filming, habitual gambling, violation of the Foreign Exchange Transaction Act, violation of the Food Sanitation Act, embezzlement in business, violation of the Aggravated Punishment of Certain Economic Crimes Act, and special assault teacher. He was sentenced to one year and six months in prison, and was released from Yeoju Prison on February 9, 2023.
