Blackpink singer and actress Jisoo sent her condolences to the victims of the Jeju Air passenger plane disaster.

Jisoo's agency, BLISSOO, posted a message on its official social media account on March 31, saying, "We would like to express our deepest condolences and sympathies to all the victims and bereaved families of the unfortunate airliner tragedy that occurred last weekend. May they rest in peace."

The label also asked fans for their understanding, noting that this week's scheduled birthday content and social media uploads for Jeezy have been postponed to join the national mourning period.

Jeju Air Flight 7C2216 from Bangkok, Thailand, crashed at around 9:07 a.m. on March 29 after colliding with the outer wall of the runway while attempting to land at Muan International Airport in South Jeolla Province. The crash resulted in the deaths of 179 of the 181 people on board. The government declared a national mourning period until January 4.

The entertainment industry is currently mourning in a variety of ways, including postponing or canceling year-end awards shows and other official events and content uploads as a mark of respect.

Jisoo will be seen in the original series "Newtopia" on Coupang Play, which is scheduled to be released on February 7th. He is also set to make his screen debut in the movie "Omniscient Reader's Point of View."
