Excessive fan behavior was a problem. Some fans showed their excitement by pushing security guards and getting close to the members. In particular, some fans were seen forcibly touching Hyein and pulling Minji's arm. The scene was filled with cursing and screaming, and the members struggled to make their way to the exit.

Amid the chaos, Hanni walked with her head down, eventually showing tears. The other members also showed signs of panic. Security teams were called in to restrain the fans, but they were unable to stop the overflowing crowd.

Later, Hanni took to Jeansforfree, an unofficial NewJeans account, to let fans know how she felt about the situation. "I'm okay now," he reassured fans, but also asked them to maintain order, saying, "I hope we don't make each other uncomfortable or dangerous."

Meanwhile, NewJeans took home three awards at the 2024 AAAs, including Singer of the Year, Best Performance, and Best Artist, marking the third year in a row that the group has won the top honor.

While the popularity of new music continues to grow, there is a growing consensus that fan behavior needs to improve. Disruptions at airports can cause inconvenience and danger to both artists and fans alike, highlighting the importance of a mature fan culture.
