Group Seventeen's unit BSS has postponed its new album promotion schedule, joining the mourning following the plane crash.

On the 29th, Seventeen announced through their official SNS, "We would like to inform you that the official photo upload schedule for BSS's second single album 'TELEPARTY', which was scheduled to be released at 6 PM today, has been postponed. The changed schedule will be announced later." They added, “We express our deepest condolences on the news of the unfortunate accident and ask for the fans’ understanding.”

BSS's new single "TELEPATHY" is a combination of the words "TELEPATHY" and "PARTY," referring to a fun party where he is telepathically connected to everyone in the world. The album has a positive message that "everyone is young if they feel happy in the present."

SEVENTEEN had planned to continue communicating with fans ahead of the release of "Teleparty" on January 8 next year by releasing the official GA and NA versions of the album, but due to the plane crash that occurred on the same day, the group had to reschedule their plans.

On the other hand, at around 9:07 a.m. on the 29th, a Jeju Air passenger plane from Bangkok, Thailand, left the runway and crashed at Muan International Airport in Jeollanam-do. The plane exploded after hitting the outer wall of a fence, and 179 people are reportedly dead and two have been rescued.

The government has declared the crash a national disaster and has declared Dec. 29 through Jan. 4 as a period of national mourning.
