LE SSERAFIM proves to be the strongest performer at year-end special, while Hong Eun Chae MCs also stand out

Group LE SSERAFIM(Kim Chae Won, Sakura, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha, Hong Eun Chae) made their presence felt at the KBS2 2024 Music Bank Global Festival in Japan with their unique performance.

The group performed a parade of hit songs at the festival, which took place at the PayPay Dome in Fukuoka, Japan, on Sept. 19, and drew a warm response from the audience.

The show started with the title track of their mini 3rd album, 'EASY (Pluggnb Remix)'. The song was reimagined with a dreamy arrangement, and LE SSERAFIM freely moved around the stage with his dancers, covering a variety of genres including old-school hip-hop. The natural movement and energy of the members combined to create a festival-like atmosphere.

The next stage, 'CRAZY (Bounce Up Remix)', turned up the heat with an upgraded performance. The original song, an EDM-based house genre, was given an energetic twist, and LE SSERAFIMcaptured the audience's attention with his intense choreography that contrasted with the cute melody. The audience sang along to the lyrics, "All the girls are girling girling girling," and the five members moved like marionettes. The unique choreography, with the five members moving like marionettes, added to the fun of the performance."

Hong Eun-chae, who served as the MC for the broadcast, also drew attention. After serving as the bank president of KBS2 Music Bank for about a year and seven months from February 2023, Hong Eun-chae returned to the hosting role after a long absence and led the 240-minute broadcast with her steady hosting and bright energy.

LE SSERAFIM has been performing at home and abroad for the end of the year. They are scheduled to perform at the SBS Music Awards on December 25, the 9th Asian Artist Awards in Bangkok, Thailand on December 27, the TBS Japan Record Awards in Japan on December 30, and the NHK Kōhaku Uta Gassen on December 31, all of which will be part of their busy year-end schedule.
