Lovelyz main vocalist Kei releases solo song 'Winter Garden' for the first time in five years

Singer Kei is releasing her first solo song in nearly five years. Her new digital single, "Winter Garden," will be released on various music sites at 6 p.m. on Nov. 19. This is her first solo release since her mini-album "Over and Over," which was released in October 2019, and is highly anticipated by fans.

"Winter Garden" is an R&B ballad, featuring Kei's soft and delicate vocals. Kei's clear, warm voice harmonizes with a simple piano and string arrangement to create a transparent winter landscape.

The song was composed by production team Monotree's Holin, Team TheHub's Franky Day, and Ayushai, with lyrics by Monotree's Phidiel Wai, Jungu Koo, and Kei. The song's lyrics convey the message that beautiful memories and hope warm the heart even in the quiet time of winter, adding to the emotional impact."

Yoon Sang, who has established the musical foundation of Lovelyz, participated as a sound supervisor to capture both Kei's skills as a vocalist and her unique charm as a solo artist.
