WINNER's Song Min Ho suspected of misconduct from the military

Winner Song Min Ho is facing allegations of misconduct ahead of his dismissal from the military, and his agency YG Entertainment has released an official statement.

On the 17th, YG Entertainment said, "It is difficult to confirm specific details regarding the artist's service," but added, "The reason for the sick leave is an extension of the treatment he received prior to his service, and all other leave was used in accordance with the regulations."

Earlier, a media outlet reported that Song Min-ho had failed to show up for work while serving as a substitute public service worker at a community center in Mapo-gu. The media outlet claimed that it visited the facility more than a dozen times from November to early December last year, but never saw Song Min-ho.

In response, Mr. L, the head of the institution, was asked to provide data related to Song Min-ho's attendance, but he reportedly declined to disclose anything, citing privacy concerns.

Meanwhile, Song Min-ho began his alternative service as a social service worker in March last year and is scheduled to be released on the 23rd of this month.
