(G)I-DLE renewed the contract with Cube Entertainmen

(G)I-DLE continue their journey with Cube Entertainment.

Cube Entertainment announced through an official statement on the 2nd that they have "signed re-signings with all of the members of (G)I-DLE," saying, "including leader Soyeon, whose exclusive contract had already ended, as well as Miyeon, Minnie, Wuqi, and Shuhua, who all had remaining contract periods."

"After in-depth discussions with the members, we have decided to re-sign them," said Cube, adding, "We will further solidify the (G)I-DLE brand that we have built over the past seven years, and we will spare no effort to help them reach a wider stage and higher heights."

The news of the re-signing came as a surprise to many, especially as Soyeon won the Record of the Year award at the Mellon Music Awards 2024 (MMA 2024) held at the Inspire Arena in Incheon on March 30, where she announced the news during her acceptance speech.

With the news of the re-signing, the group will continue to stabilize the team activities they have been doing since their debut. Fans are looking forward to the new leap that the members and Cube Entertainment will make together.
