The agency said that Mr. A illegally recorded a conversation with Kim Junsu and used it to threaten him and demand money. During the threatening process, Mr. A allegedly pressured Kim Junsu by saying, "As a celebrity, your image will be tarnished even if one untrue article appears."

Kim Junsu reported his victimization through his fan communication platform. "I have been enduring the threats for five years, but I couldn't take it anymore," he said, adding, "Mr. A was arrested and an arrest warrant was issued for his arrest because of his bad behavior."
