TOMORROW X TOGETHER hits major Billboard charts with new album
The group has once again demonstrated its global influence as it tops the U.S. Billboard charts with its mini-seventh album, "Chapter of Stars: Sanctuary.
According to the latest charts (dated November 23) released by U.S. music publication Billboard on November 19 (local time), TOMORROW X TOGETHER reclaimed the No. 1 spot on the Artist 100 chart, and also topped the Top Album Sales, Top Current Album Sales, and World Albums charts with their new album.
The new album also debuted at No. 2 on Billboard's main album chart, the Billboard 200. It sold 95,500 copies during the charting period, making it the #1 album of the week in the United States. This brings TOMORROW X TOGETHER's total to 11 albums on the Billboard 200, marking the group's fourth consecutive Top 3 debut."
In particular, the group has nine albums in the top 10 on the Top Album Sales chart, with seven of them peaking at No. 1, the most of any K-pop artist. Furthermore, since 2020, only TWICE and Taylor Swift have had a new album debut at #1 on the Top Album Sales chart every year, confirming their strong presence in the global music market.
The title track, "Over The Moon," also continues to perform well. The song peaked at No. 3 on the World Digital Song Sales chart, up five spots from the previous week, and reached No. 195 on the Global 200 and No. 111 on the Global (excluding US) chart.
TOMORROW X TOGETHER has also been confirmed to perform on NHK's "Hongbaek Gahapjeon," Japan's leading year-end music festival. As the only K-pop boy group to make the cut this year, TXT will showcase their status as a global artist on the program, which will air on December 31st.
As they continue to break chart records and write new history, it will be interesting to see what else TOMORROW X TOGETHER will accomplish in the future. <저작권자 ⓒ 코인리더스 무단전재 및 재배포 금지>
