Oh My Girl's HyoJung Appoints New DJ for 'Turn Up the Volume'...

HyoJung, a member of the group Oh My Girl, will be the new DJ for the popular radio program "Volume Up" on KBS Cool FM (FM 89.1 MHz in the Seoul metropolitan area). The first broadcast is scheduled for May 25 at 8 p.m.

"I'm so excited and unbelievable to be hosting a program with my name on it," said HyoJung, adding, "I've always loved the power of radio to tell stories. I want to be a DJ who can help listeners unwind from the day and give them the comfort to prepare for tomorrow."

"Volume Up" has been KBS's signature radio program since its debut in 1995, and has been hosted by many well-known and beloved stars, including Yvonne, Mae B, Choi Kang Hee, Yoo In Na, and Kang Kang Na. HyoJung will join Cheongha as the program's new host, bringing her musical expertise and bright energy to the program and interacting with listeners.

"Hyojung's positive energy and intergenerational appeal will energize our listeners," said PD Oguna.

"My Girl Hyo Jung's Volume Up" airs every evening at 8 p.m. and can also be heard on KBS Cool FM and radio applications "KBS Kong" and "KBS Plus.
