IVE An Yujin Impresses with Webtoon 'The Great' OST 'Dreaming'... Making Film Revealed

Kakao Entertainment announced that it will release a behind-the-scenes video of IVE leader An Yujin's recording studio at 6 p.m. today (Dec. 12) in conjunction with the release of the OST "Dreaming" for the webtoon The Great. The video will be available to fans on global K-pop platform 1theK and other platforms."

The special making film will showcase the recording of the OST song "Dreaming," An Yujin's first solo vocal appearance in a long time, and will seamlessly blend key scenes from The Great. The film lyrically captures the happy time that webtoon protagonist Yoo Bora and his destined lover Ki Seok Ho shared together, and is expected to give fans of the original work a deeper impression. In particular, An Yujin's passionate recording and scenes expressing various emotions are expected to dramatically convey the moving story of the work.

In the pre-released film's main cut, An Yujin's focused singing and deep emotions stand out. These scenes hint at the high quality of the OST and showcase Ahn's charm as an artist, from her serious discussions about the song to her passionate recording. With her long, bobbed hair and white blouse, An Yujin's visuals are reminiscent of a webtoon character."

"Dreaming" is a pop ballad with a dreamy atmosphere, and An Yujin's unique, crystal-clear voice creates a touching atmosphere. Webtoon The Great has gained great popularity for its touching story about the ordinary yet great life of the main character, Yubora. The story by Kwangjin Kwang and illustrations by Jimin Jimin were recognized at the 2024 World Webtoon Festival in September, where it won the Grand Jury Prize.
